1.) Will The Viper unleash his venom on Cesaro?
As decreed by Stephanie McMahon last week, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton has been tasked with the challenge of facing each of his five Elimination Chamber Match opponents in the weeks leading up to the February 23rd World Title battle inside the career-changing structure.
With losses to Daniel Bryan and John Cena on Raw overshadowing his win against Christian last week on SmackDown, The Viper must now look to get back on track against the powerful Cesaro tonight - the Superstar that many consider the "dark horse" of the Chamber.
Will the "Face of WWE" fulfill the expectations of The Authority and harness, from within, the ruthless competitor that has made him WWE's Apex Predator? Find out tonight at 8/7CT, only on Syfy!
2.) How fired up will Bryan be after a "night off"?
After confronting The Authority and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton on Raw, Daniel Bryan was given an unappreciated “night off.” Luckily for the WWE Universe – and unluckily for Kane – Bryan made an appearance later in the evening to send WWE’s Director of Operations packing.
Tonight on SmackDown, The Beard is scheduled to team up with his fellow Elimination Chamber Match combatants and former World Champions – Sheamus & Christian – in a Six-Man Tag Team showdown against The Shield! Will Bryan deliver another direct – and painful – message to The Authority, at the expense of The Hounds of Justice?
Also, after a face-off with Dean Amborse, Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins on Monday night, it will be interesting to see if The Wyatt Family will look to make additional waves for their Elimination Chamber pay-per-view opponents in the process.
3.) Eight men enter, but who will win?
Tonight, SmackDown will also feature an Eight-Man Tag Team Match that guarantees chaos and fast and furious action. Cody Rhodes & Goldust will join forces with The Usos to take on WWE Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws & Ryback & Curtis Axel.
The explosive tag team division currently stands in a state of flux with the recently crowned Outlaws, and there is no shortage of history on all sides between these volatile Superstars. As a result, this contest represents an opportunity for the Rhodes brothers to position themselves to reclaim their former glory. It could also allow the enterprising duo of Jey & Jimmy Uso to move up the ranks and possibly interject themselves in the title picture … or to crash and burn.
4.) How can Swagger make a "Real" Statement?
With his fellow Real American, Cesaro, competing in both SmackDown’s main event and the loomingWWE World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match, a slumping Jack Swagger is surely looking to reassert himself into WWE’s main event picture in some way.
Will Zeb Colter’s other patriotic pupil make a move on tonight’s SmackDown? And who might be in Swagger’s sights?
5.) How will Eva Marie fare in her first-ever singles match?
In what could be called a Valentine’s Day gift to the WWE Universe, the jaw-droppingly gorgeous Eva Marie will compete in her debut singles match tonight on SmackDown.
After impressing in recent months in tag team action, will the radiant redhead be able to hang with dangerous veteran Alicia Fox? Tune in to SmackDown on Syfy at 8/7 CT tonight to find out!
