This Sunday, the WWE Universe gets closer than ever to the Divas division with the premiere of E!'s "Total Divas" reality show at 10/9 CT. But before the Universe gets an unprecedented peek behind the curtain of WWE's warrior women, WWE.com sat down for an exclusive pair of interviews with the division's freshest faces, Eva Marie and Jo Jo, about what makes them Diva material. First up, the flame-haired beauty who's taken the WWE Universe (and Jerry Lawler's face) by storm, Eva Marie.
It's less command today, but back in the early 1990s, it wasn't so unusual to see a construction worker battling a tax collector in the ring or crazed plumber cramming his plunger into the face of garbage man. For whatever reason, there was a brief and bizarre time in both WWE and WCW when a group of working stiffs- from fireman to lumberjacks- decided to supplement their income by taking on grappling as a part-time gig.
It's a well-known fact that anything can happen in WWE. Shock and awe is a typical characteristic of every WWE event, but there are some moments throughout history that the WWE Universe though would never happen.
Time flies, huh? This week marks the 52nd episode of RAW since its three-hour expansion at RAW 1,000, meaning it's been one full year since WWE's flagship show grew to its current, plus-sized three hours. Though the move was met with controversary at the time (we belive CM Punk referred to it once as "insufferable" in one of his grumpier moments), there's no denying the quality of comeptition has increased along with show's running time.
WWE Universe, don't miss Nikki & Brie Bella appearing on network and cable TV shows all week long. The Bella Twins will be promoting their upcoming reality series, "Total Divas," which premieres on E! July 28 at 10/9 CT!.
The Biggest Party of the Summer only deserves a truly awesome party host, and now it's got one.
With a new RAW GM in place and two first-time Money in the Bank winners holding championship contracts, there's an aura of uncertainty in WWE that hasn't been felt in some time. As the road to SummerSlam heats up, what will unfold on this Monday's RAW? Here are five reasons to tune in at 8/7 CT on USA Network.
One is a big, beef-eating strongman from Massachusetts who's goofy and gritty in equal measure, with a personality as clean-cut as his Dudley Do-Right jawline. The other is an undersized, hair, vegan grappler from Aberdeen, Washington., whose face is as scraggly as a Wild Thing and who mainly communicates in one-word responses at earsplitting volumes. And in just four weeks at SummerSlam, John Cena and Daniel Bryan are going to beat the hell out each other with the WWE.
25.) Justin Gabriel: The South African's clash with Heath Slater on WWE Main Event came to an abrupt end when The Wyatt Family decided to impose their will on anyone in the vicinity of ringside.
